7. You should stop receiving packages from China

The World Health Organization busted this myth and said it is safe to receive a package from China because coronaviruses do not survive for a very long time in packages and letters. It stays for a longer time in plastic, glass, and metal, but the surfaces of commercial packaging do not allow the virus to survive for more than a few hours.

Additionally, consider that coronavirus requires a specific temperature, humidity, and UV exposure to survive. Shipping packages do not usually meet these environmental requirements, and the risk of spreading the disease through packages is extremely low to null.
