4) Nausea and vomiting
It is another effect of inflammatory cytokines in the body. However, nausea and vomiting may have a distinctive value when it comes to diagnosing kidney infection. In the majority of cases, patients with an infection in the lower urinary tract do not develop nausea and vomiting. It is more common in kidney infections.
